Monastell is an example of tradition and modernity. Located in a privileged environment such as the Alt Penedés, in the town of San Sadurní de Noya, we elaborate artisan cavas following the wine tradition started last century.

The cellar

Founded in 1941 as a family business by the Roca Gibert family. With the aim of creating a product with a unique quality and personality, wines rest in a meticulously controlled cellar in conditions of silence darkness and cold.

Autochthonous varieties

We only work with local grape varieties. The Xarel·lo brings body and structure, Macabeo sensuality, Parellada softness and aroma.

Long aging

Over the years we have achieved a close balance between tradition and progress. We use natural cork stopper during the second fermentation, technically superior for aging in the cellar, however we do not give up other advances such as the freezing of the neck of the bottle for the perfect removal of the yeasts.
